A potential love connection has the Surreal Life: Villa of Secrets house buzzing.
After the trailer for the MTV reality series, released June 28, teased a possible hookup between Kim Zolciak and Chet Hanks, the costars are shedding light on their instant chemistry.
"I think Chet is great," The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum exclusively told E! News. "He's just a great guy and we had some very deep conversations that you'll see. You have to stay tuned and see what happens."
And the feeling was mutual, as the son of Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson shared, "Kim is just cool as hell. We instantly got along. She's very savvy, she's very witty. She's got a smart mouth. I'm drawn to people like that, like fun banter. I still keep in touch with Kim and we just got along great."
But did the two actually get romantic while filming?
While Chet teased he “can’t confirm or deny anything,” Kim added, “You’ll have to stay tuned, honey.”
Meanwhile, Kim admitted she had zero clue that Chet was related to two Hollywood icons when she entered the Surreal Life villa in Colombia.
"I had no idea who he was when I first met him to be honest," the former Bravo star noted. "I had to call [daughter] Brielle [Biermann] and ask her. She's like, 'There's only one Chet in world, mom.' That was kind of funny."
As for Kim's ongoing divorce from husband of 12 years Kroy Biermann, the reality star has been focusing on herself amid all the relationship troubles.
"I haven't been dating anyone or anything throughout this whole process," Kim—who shares kids Brielle, 27, Ariana, 22, KJ, 13, Kash, 11, and 10-year-old twins Kaia and Kane with Kroy—revealed. "Just focus on the kids and myself and falling in love with Kim again, doing things for Kim."
"I don't know what the future holds," she added. "It's been a rough, rocky road."
Surreal Life: Villa of Secrets premieres Tuesday, July 23, at 9 p.m. on MTV. And keep reading to meet the whole celebrity cast.
